Invited by an artist friend to be part of an invitational show of more than twelve artists exhibiting self portraits at Wildwood Community College’s “Art of Me” Show, opening October 28th, 2019 this seemed self-indulgent. But, encouraged by friend Jill Friedman, and by seeing an incredible self portrait by sculptor friend Michael Bauermeister, my pals generously gave license to attempt the genre.
